The X90-2S is designed for 480V environments that need higher capacity than compact systems while keeping a simplified, integrated architecture. Power modules, batteries, and maintenance bypass are contained within a single enclosure — eliminating separate battery cabinets in many deployments while enabling expansion within the same footprint. Built around one or two 50 or 70 kW power modules, the X90-2S scales from 50 to 140 kW, with internal batteries supporting loads up to 100 kW in the single cabinet.
Configurable with redundant power and battery modules — N+1 within installed slot capacity for continuous uptime.
Up to 96.5% in online mode and 99% in ECO mode, reducing energy cost in continuous duty.
One or two hot-swappable power modules scale the system from 50 kW up to 140 kW.
Internal batteries provide up to 6 minutes at 100 kW — no external enclosure required up to 100 kW.
No rear clearance needed for maintenance — supports against-wall and tight-room installs.
Front bypass enables service and repair with no external bypass gear.
Graphic display of real-time status and alarms.
Flexible input configuration for maximum installation flexibility.

Traditional modular UPS systems often require external battery cabinets and additional floor space as capacity increases. The X90-2S integrates runtime and maintenance bypass into a single cabinet, enabling scalable capacity without the footprint and complexity of multi-cabinet systems — for higher power density and simplified deployment while maintaining full system performance.

The integrated battery system provides internal runtime suitable for generator ride-through and short-duration outages — up to 6 minutes at 100 kW. The modular architecture supports redundancy and serviceability through hot-swappable power and battery modules, allowing maintenance without system downtime. For extended runtime or 140 kW configurations, the optional X90-BC battery cabinet adds up to 36 battery modules.

Runtimes in minutes; vary with battery age and site conditions. Modules 8–20 are internal to the UPS cabinet (4/8/12/16/20 installed); shaded columns (24–56) require the optional X90-BC battery cabinet. 140 kW configurations require X90-BC for meaningful runtime. N+1 redundancy is configured within installed slot capacity and is not implied at a frame’s fully-populated maximum.

The Ai90 delivers 480V three-phase protection in a comparable capacity class — but in a rack-mounted form factor that also integrates output distribution.
