The M90C-2S is a compact, rack-integrated three-phase modular UPS — 5 or 8 kW of online double-conversion protection in a 6U chassis. Built on a dual-slot architecture (one power module, one battery module), it brings centralized three-phase continuity into standard racks for federal, healthcare, enterprise IT, and industrial environments where space and procurement compliance are critical. Unity output power factor (kVA = kW), an integral maintenance bypass, configurable line-cord / receptacle / hardwire connection, and TAA compliance (UL-1778 / cUL). 2-year warranty and a $50,000 load-protection policy.

The M90C-2S delivers centralized three-phase protection within standard rack deployments — supporting modernization of legacy fixed-capacity UPS while simplifying service workflows and runtime scalability. Its dual-slot architecture uses one power module and one battery module in a compact 6U chassis, enabling phased runtime expansion without chassis replacement. Unlike floor-standing three-phase UPS, the rack-integrated approach brings continuity into existing rack infrastructure, in micro-data-center, secure IT, clinical-technology, edge-aggregation, and industrial-control environments.
With TAA compliance, modular serviceability, and a compact rack footprint, the M90C-2S is positioned for regulated U.S. infrastructure — VA medical facilities, federal data centers and secure IT rooms, Department of Defense infrastructure, government research laboratories, and federally funded modernization programs. Its compact rack-integrated form factor supports phased deployment within existing IT and clinical-technology rooms — without electrical-room reconstruction — aligning with healthcare modernization efforts such as VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM), where clinical-system availability and procurement compliance are critical.
Unity PF (1.0) delivers full use of installed electrical capacity — kVA = kW — reducing the oversizing common to legacy three-phase UPS, with best-in-class efficiency up to 98% ECO mode.
A built-in maintenance bypass allows service or replacement without disrupting protected loads, eliminating external bypass panels and improving lifecycle serviceability — particularly valued in federal and healthcare deployments.
Centralized three-phase continuity in a compact 6U rack chassis (mountable in a standard 19-inch rack, or as a tower on a caster base) — bringing protection into existing rack infrastructure instead of a separate floor-standing unit.
The dual-slot architecture scales runtime while keeping a consistent rack footprint; battery modules can be added (up to 8 per power module) for phased runtime expansion without chassis replacement.
Deploy hardwired, or with an optional input line cord (L21-20P at 5 kW, L21-30P at 8 kW) and configurable receptacle panels, each with an integral breaker (M90C-RPI for L21-20R, M90C-RPJ for L21-30R) — one panel per enclosure.

The M90C platform is the compact, rack-integrated three-phase modular tier within the Xtreme Power modular ecosystem — sitting between single-phase modular and facility-scale three-phase systems. Rack-integrated platforms like the M90C are selected when continuity must deploy inside rack environments, electrical-room expansion is constrained, localized centralized protection is required, or federal procurement compliance is necessary.
Within the M90C platform: the M90C-2S (5–8 kW) is optimized for secure rack deployments and localized continuity; the M90C-6S (5–24 kW) supports higher-density aggregation and extended runtime. There is also a 400 V global sibling, the M90Ci-2S.
Rack-integrated modular platforms such as the M90C-2S are selected when continuity must deploy within rack environments, electrical-room expansion is constrained, or federal and healthcare modernization (such as VA EHRM) calls for phased, in-rack deployment. Facility-scale modular platforms such as the M90U are selected when continuity capacity exceeds rack-deployment thresholds, centralized electrical-room deployment is preferred, or enterprise-scale load growth is anticipated.

Both models are 6U (17.3 × 31.5 × 10.5 in, 34 lb) with unity output power factor and a ±96 VDC (default) or ±120 VDC battery system, 4 A charging. Output is hardwired (terminal blocks) or via one optional receptacle panel per enclosure. Up to 8 battery modules are supported per power module via the optional extended battery cabinet.
