Xtreme Power Conversion designs, builds, and supports uninterruptible power systems and rack power distribution for data centers, healthcare, industrial automation, and edge infrastructure. We sell through resellers, integrators, and OEM partners — which means the people who specify our equipment are usually the same people who have to make it work on site. That shapes what we build.
Our product line runs from 200 W device-level protection to 700 kW modular three-phase systems. It spans single-phase rackmount UPS for network closets and edge cabinets, integrated lithium systems that put the battery inside the UPS instead of in a separate cabinet, modular three-phase systems that scale by adding power modules rather than replacing frames, and the rack power distribution that sits beneath all of it. The same design conventions run through the whole line: front-access service, honest runtime data, and a maintenance path that does not require dropping the load.

Complete systems are manufactured by long-term contract partners, to specifications we write, own, and hold them to. Our USA facilities handle battery pack assembly, system configuration, custom and made-to-order assemblies, and product testing. That is where a standard platform becomes the specific thing a customer ordered — the runtime they asked for, the receptacle configuration their rack needs, the OEM variant that carries someone else’s badge.
The result is a short escalation path. When a call goes past the front line it moves to our technical services manager and then to engineering, internally rather than through a vendor. If a field issue turns out to be a design issue, the people who can change the design are in the building.

Our Friendship, Wisconsin facility runs technical and service training for partners, integrators, and field technicians. Sessions are hands-on with real equipment on the bench, not slides — commissioning, configuration, diagnostics, battery service, and the failure modes that actually show up in the field.
The point is straightforward. A partner who can commission and troubleshoot our equipment without waiting on us closes projects faster and keeps their customer’s uptime in their own hands. Training runs alongside the service and repair operation, so the people teaching it are the people who see every warranty return.
Every product family is tested in our USA facilities before it goes to a customer. Contract partners test to our specifications at the factory; we test again here, because the unit that matters is the one that arrives configured the way the customer ordered it, not the one that passed on a production line eight thousand miles away.

Warranty returns and depot repairs come back to the same building as engineering, so failure patterns reach the people who can act on them.
When a pattern does emerge, we would rather run a documented corrective action program and tell partners exactly what we found than handle it quietly one return at a time. That is a more expensive answer in the short term and the only one that holds up over a product’s service life.
Federal agencies, state and local government, public universities, healthcare systems buying on GSA schedule, and the integrators who serve them are frequently required to source Trade Agreements Act compliant equipment. That requirement removes a great many power products from consideration before price is ever discussed. Most of ours remain on the table.
TAA compliance is not a label a manufacturer can simply apply to itself. It depends on where a product is substantially transformed, and it is determined product by product rather than company-wide. We maintain that determination at the model level and will document it for a specific part number on request, which is what a contracting officer actually needs — not a general assurance.
Rack densities in AI training and inference deployments have outrun the assumptions conventional AC distribution was built on. We are developing an 800 VDC platform — the AX8 and DX8 families — that moves conversion closer to the load and removes stages from the power path, targeting the density, efficiency, and thermal envelope those deployments actually operate in.
The line is in active development for release in 2027. We are naming it here because infrastructure of this kind gets designed years before it gets energized, and the teams planning those builds now should know it is coming. If you are specifying for 2027 and beyond, we would rather be in that conversation early.
Power protection is bought on a datasheet and judged on a bad night. We publish runtime tables at multiple load points instead of one flattering number, show competitor advantages at parity in our comparison documents, and state derating and environmental limits plainly. A specification that overpromises does not win the second project.
